Our mission is to transform people’s lives for the better through remodeling. At Tabor Design Build we listen to you, so we can design and build the home you want. We’re dedicated to providing you with a stress-free remodeling experience, surprise-free pricing and exceptional craftsmanship.
President John Tabor personally monitors your project to make sure you’re happy. Since the majority of our work comes from referrals, we realize our future depends on exceeding our client’s expectations. We’re not happy until you are.
Tabor Design Build takes complete responsibility for your entire project – from initial design to final clean up.
Careful planning and tight scheduling are the keys to making sure your project runs smoothly with minimal disruption to your family. Our scheduling allows us to finish projects much faster than our industry’s standard. Some companies spend a year on projects that we can easily finish in two months with proper planning. We provide you with a copy of the production schedule in calendar format. We find that this greatly reduces everyone’s stress level by knowing what is expected to happen every day.
Attention to Detail
Our construction agreement lists every material and fixture that will be installed on your project. Every finish is specified. We option out as many items as possible to help you control the final price. Our typical construction agreement for an addition is at least 12 pages long. Ask us for a sample.
Remodeling Magazine wrote an article about how our construction agreement has a list titled “This agreement does not include:”. This list includes every item that we may have discussed during design meetings that you ultimately decided not to include in your project.
Our warranty is so comprehensive that it’s 36 pages. We find all of this work prevents misunderstandings and puts everyone’s mind at ease, knowing what will happen and what won’t happen.
At Tabor Design Build, we believe strongly in continuing education. John is a member of Remodelers Advantage, a peer review group that is dedicated to the education and improvement of the remodeling industry. Our experienced carpenters have received extensive training and are certified by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) as Certified Lead Carpenters.
