Tabor Design Build Gives Back

On Aug. 14, 2010, John Tabor and the Tabor Team donated labor and materials to provide Maureen Walsh, a Navy nurse injured in Viet Nam, a new handicap ramp, modifications to her existing ramps, new screen doors and a concrete patio with walkway.

Carl’s Masonry Unlimited volunteered the installation of concrete that was supplied by Chaney Enterprise through their charitable foundation. The Trex Company donated ADA-compliant deck materials, and TW Perry CEO Mike Cassidy swung a hammer to wood products donated by his organization. Duley & Associates volunteered to provide the survey services necessary for permitting. Many thanks to everyone involved in the successful completion of the first Tabor Veteran Project!

We repaired an existing front ramp. Joe, Steve and TW Perry CEO Mike Cassidy.

Tabor Design Build has teamed up with local organizations that assist returning Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families. With the support and assistance of our vendors, Tabor Design Build is donating labor and materials to our returning disabled veterans. Whether building a wheel chair ramp, widening doorways or modifying a shower, the Tabor Team is honored to be able to provide assistance to those who have given so much for their country.

If you know a veteran who could use our help, please give us a call at 301-417-6570 or send an email to pcard@tabordesignbuild.com.
