Schweitzer Case Study 1
Picture 1 of 7
Even though the Schweitzers’ home was built in 1998, the family felt the kitchen’s tile countertops and vinyl flooring already gave the room a dated feel. The lack of cabinet space made the room feel cramped. The Schweitzers wanted to use their kitchen island as a breakfast bar, which was impossible because of the unsafe placement of the cook top on the island and also the island’s proximity to the mudroom. The mudroom itself needed a more functional system for removal and storage of coats and shoes.
