As a military brat I feel I really understand the true spirit of this day. As a kid we often took part in the celebrations offered at the military bases where we were stationed. But more importantly, whether at home or abroad, we as a family honored those men and women, and their families, who sacrificed to protect the freedoms of the United States of America. Thank you to all who have served, especially my Dad, Grandpa and brother Don.  I salute you.
