TDB Office Renovation Photos by Tabor Design Build, Inc. and Greg Hadley of Hadley Photography Cubicles Before Remodeling The old space was dark and dirty with flowered wallpaper and paint colors from a different era. We needed fewer offices and wanted them to be more user friendly with sufficient work space, a door that closed when needed and a clean open feeling. Our company also required the standard amenities like a kitchen, bathroom and meeting facilities but they also needed to serve as the company's showroom for the many products and services we provide for our clients. The key was to create a more open professional space with room to grow and amenities befitting our company's client's tastes as well as our own. Our company's entrance needed to be welcoming with a durable surface but with an upscale twist. The main office needed to serve as a reception area where the office manager had room to greet clients, plenty of space to perform her many duties, store away her things for a clean look and house multiple pieces of office equipment. From there our office needed to flow off of one main hallway with individual offices, storage areas, kitchen and bathroom facilities, ending in a conference room. While all of the space was connected and flowed from front to back, each area needed its own appeal to satisfy our company's need for a showroom. With all the cubicles removed, the existing space was redesigned with a more natural flow. A slate floor welcomes clients at the entrance with rich warm tones. The texture of the slate makes for a slip resistant flooring coming in from the elements. A tall staircase with a window and warm textured carpeting leads up into our offices. To enhance the light clean feeling, most of the building's ceiling tiles were replaced. New Office Manager's Office New Bathroom with Shower The bathroom was expanded to include a functioning oversize shower. The floor is laid with honed sandstone tiles in rich colors and patterns. The sink and faucet are a contrast to the honed limestone vanity top. The shower has been enriched with honed marble walls and decorative accent borders, with a natural pebble mosaic floor. This bathroom is a wonderful showroom for our company's services.New President's Office An executive office is across the hall from a functioning kitchen. In the executive office existing skylights create a well-lit space. To keep that open feeling, the office was designed with multiple horizontal work surfaces and one wall of upper storage so that the multitasking owner can accomplish his goals.3D Employee Kitchen Layout New Employee Kitchen The kitchen is functional and pleasing to the eye. With two toned cabinets, glass cabinet doors, shelving, new black appliances, granite countertops, honed travertine flooring and a decorative tumbled stone backsplash, the kitchen provides for our company's day to day needs as well as a fabulous showroom to assist clients in making selections. Past the kitchen are four more offices. New Employee Kitchen ![]() 3D Conference Room Layout New Conference Room At the end of the hall a large conference room has been created with a conference table and built-in cabinets for storage and display. The conference room has plenty of room for the staff to meet, as well as holding client meetings. All of our company's literature, catalogs and samples are stored in the cabinets for easy access. A large screen TV with computer access allows for Power Point presentations as well as viewing the clients' work in progress. This office space is now ready for our busy company and our clients.
