Nothing like enjoying the weather, eating barbeque, socializing and calling it work! While John was away at a Remodelers Advantage Conference last week, Peggy Card (our in house designer) and I joined TW Perry for a wonderful cookout. On top of being able to enjoy some fun in the sun, we were present to receive an award on behalf of John Tabor and Tabor Design Build, Inc. from the TW Perry crew.
Tabor Design Build is honored having received the TW Perry 2011 Roger Gregory Community Service Award. The award is given to a TW Perry customer who has devoted time and skill to helping others, fostering goodwill, improving lives and helping “give back” to the community. The award now hangs proudly at Tabor Design Build headquarters.
Tabor Design Build has worked with TW Perry to improve the lives of disabled veterans through remodeling. Whether the team is building ramps to improve access or swinging a hammer for demolition purposes, the Tabor team strives to provide a helping hand to the wounded warriors of our country. John Tabor makes countless phone calls looking for more Veterans to help. Never seeking recognition, John truly deserves this award for his efforts. I am grateful to work for a person so giving and compassionate to the needs of others.
Tabor Design Build would like to send a special thanks to the TW Perry team, who also does a number of admirable things within the community.
