With Halloween around the corner and winter not far behind, its important to perform a safety inspection of the front entrance to your home.  Closely inspect your walkway and steps for trip hazards.  Are your stone pavers/bricks uneven or has your concrete sidewalk heaved from last winter’s snows?  Test all porch and stair railings to make sure they are secure.  Check your path lighting.  Whether wired or solar do they all come on at the designated time?  And is the lighting at your front door sufficient for friend or foe?   Make sure that your house number is visible from the street.  These quick fixes help keep you and your guest safe when coming to your home.
